Morocco;

Morocco is steeped in historical buildings dating back to the Roman period,
these can be found in the Cities of Marrakech, Rabat, Fez and Meknes, you will
also find many monuments, mosques and wonderful architecture as well as picturesque
gardens to walk through and a variety of unusual birds to catch a glimpse of
as well as the spectacular sand dunes of the Western Sahara, where you will
be sure to spot unusual desert plants and animals. Fez is the capital city of
Morocco and a popular tourist destination housing the largest and oldest medieval
city in the world, visitors can walk round this spectacular city in its natural
decaying state, as it has never been changed.
Organised tours in Morocco are a great idea if you are travelling alone, ranging
from trekking and hiking up to the Atlas mountains to Golfing holidays in Casablanca,
Morocco’s largest city. Golfing in Morocco is extremely popular and there
are organised tours available for a week at a time and for the football mad,
enjoy an eight day tour and participate in the local football tournaments that
are played in Casablanca and Marrakech, sightseeing of the city is also included
in the price. There is much to do in Morocco and shopping at the colourful markets
is an enjoyable experience as is some of the larger shopping malls in the cities,
with many restaurants, trendy bars, European cafes and restaurants as well as
the traditional Morocco cuisine, you will be sure to enjoy your visit.
In order for you to visit Morocco you are required to hold a current full valid
passport. You are not required to hold a visa before travelling unless you are
thinking of staying longer than three months. The currency in Morocco is the
Dirham (DH); there are auto tellers available in Morocco as well as banks to
change currency. Most credit cards are accepted as payment in Morocco.
