Family fun at New York parade

Taking place on September 19, the annual African-American Day Parade offers a colourful, loud and exciting day for everyone.

The streets of Harlem are packed full for this event, which includes floats bursting with a host of music such as soca, reggae, soul and ragga.

Everyone can enjoy the festival for free, which spans across a host of streets such as 11th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard.

As well as the top music, visitors are also treated to top dancing and amazing costumes.
