Enjoy marvellous music at historic venue

Warwick offers music lovers a top event this summer at its Grand Summer Concert.

On July 3 and 4 Warwick Castle will be a mixture of outside music concerts and top fireworks displays.

Among the performances on offer this year are The Hebrides Overture (Fingal's Cave) by Mendelssohn, Dvorak's New World Symphony and Rossini's William Tell Overture.

A number of the music shows will also be accompanied by top lighting displays as well.

Performances can be viewed from the castle's Pageants' Field and visitors are advised to take some sort of blanket, an umbrella and a hamper.

The fireworks help create the perfect ending to the evening when they are set off at 10.30pm.

Costs vary from £20 to £25.
