Help to celebrate Spanish saint at religious festival

Marbella provides a day of music and lively celebrations in June as it commemorates its patron saint San Bernabe.

As part of the Feria de San Bernabe, an image of the saint is paraded through the main streets of the town centre, as well as equestrian displays and music.

The Saint is supposed to have given money to Apostles for them to give to the poor, according to biblical legend.

Marquees are also set up for people to socialise in and taste typical Andalusian dishes including fried fish and Parma Ham.

After the parade, the party goes on until dawn.

Taking place on June 11, the event is free to watch.
