Walking within the Saronic Islands is a popular activity especially for the Wildlife enthusiasts as the Islands offer many species of unusual birds which are resident in the Mediterranean and some that are migratory birds flying from East Africa to Europe. In the mountain regions you may catch a glimpse at a Kestrel, griffon Vulture and Eagle.
Reptiles can also be found such as the Balkan green Lizard and Geckoes feasting on mosquitoes at night.
Butterflies on the Island are all around with beautiful varying colours.

Passenger ferries and tourist boats can do travelling to the Saronic Islands to all the Saronic Ports departing from Piraeus central harbour on a daily basis making it perfect for day trips.
Flying to the Islands is another option with flights available departing from Athens with Olympic Airways to the various Islands.
Hydrofoils (although more expensive) are the fastest way to travel around the Islands, however services may be limited during the winter months due to rough waters.
