of squares throughout Rome, the Gran Ballo di Ferragosto takes place on August
15.
The Feast of the
Assumption offers visitors professional dance performances and top orchestras.
Taking place from
7pm the festival is free of charge and also offers music such as hip-hop, rock
and ballroom dancing.
In addition performers
try to get audiences to get involved to ensure they really are part of the action.
