Mix of Irish charm and talent at choral festival

One of Europe's top events takes place this May in Ireland as top choirs come together for the Cork International Choral Festival.

First founded in 1954, the event is known for its top competition standards, organisation and friendliness.

Costs vary and the event is held at the city hall from May 28-31.

A range of different concerts take place including international choirs and more than a 100 youth, adult and school choirs from Ireland.

Not all the event is a competition with some activities such as outdoor shows, Fringe concerts and church events also taking place.
