Holland offers
floral frenzy
In a floral procession
from Aalsmeer all the way through to the centre of Amsterdam, this event is
a must for flower fans.
A 2.5 kilometres
long float covered in one and a half million flowers travels through the streets,
along with band performances, costumed dancers and decorated vehicles.
The event takes
place on September 4 and is free of charge.
Floats show the
latest in flower arrangements and car design and the procession begins at 8.30
and arrives in Amsterdam at 4.30pm.
