Disney Land Anaheim

Disney Land Park located in Anaheim; Los Angeles is a major attraction for the whole family. The park was opened in 1955 by the animator Walt Disney providing a kingdom of magic and fantasy for the whole family. The Park is open 365 days of the year and during the summer months the opening hours are from 8am – 1am.
The park has some fantastic rides and shows for the Kids and there are more than 50 shops within the park, plenty of restaurants serving mainly fast food and cafes divided among the eight uniquely themed lands.
The Park even allows you to bring your pet, unfortunately he will have to spend the day at the kennels within the park and there is a small fee for this service.

There are plenty hotels situated near the Park such as the Anaheim Ramada that is approximately one hour’s drive from Los Angeles Airport. The hotel provides excellent value for money accommodation. It is a typical American-style hotel that is close to the Disney Land Park and is centrally located for other attractions in and around the area. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle service to Disney Land Park.

The entertainment within the park offers many life-size Disney Land characters to keep the kids happy where they are encouraged to sing and dance along with some of special effects shows.
Take a journey through the entire park on the Disney Land Railroad via steam locomotive or watch president Abraham Lincoln give a speech. Ride on a horse drawn streetcar or old horse-less carriage around the streets of Disney land. Something a little more relaxing is the Disney Land movie theatre where you can view the early Disney Animated cartoons.

Other attractions in the Park include Indiana Jones Adventure that is classed as engineering genius, with its 250ft Skull corridors that blast out fantasy fireballs and the famous boulder rolling incident just like in the actual film.
Tomorrow Land offers some exciting roller-coaster rides through Space- Mountain and clever 3D shows.
Sleeping Beauty’s Castle and Adventure Land are popular with the seven –eight year olds with Tarzans Tree house and fake animals roaming around the park

Located outside of Disney Land Park is the Knott’s Berry Farm with its Roller Coaster rides and several themed areas including the Ghost Town, which consists of carnival rides and restaurants. The Wild Water Wilderness and Fiesta Village will also keep the whole family entertained with its range of thrilling rides.
