Help celebrate
a worthwhile cause in Australia
With the theme
of Self-Determination - Our Community - Our Future - Our Responsibility, Australia
hosts its National Aborigines' Week this July.
Running from July
4-11, a host of Australian areas will offer a selection of events and entertainment.
Taking place since
1957, the event has a different theme each year and offers a special ball and
awards ceremonies among other events.
The festival is
held to recognise the Aboriginal people's struggle for recognition and restitution
in the 1930s.
This year Perth
is the main focus area for the festival.
