is more to Kenya than safari and big game, you will also find mountainous scenery,

Kenya is a mixture of tribal heritage and modern living, the locals are very
hospitable and welcoming, however care should be taken when travelling through
Nairobi, Kenya’s Capital City, don’t let that put you off visiting
the prime cultural centre as there are many things to do including Nairobi International
Park which has some fantastic wild animals to view such as Cheetah, Rhino and
giraffe, the park Nairobi’s major attraction and shouldn’t be missed.
Shopping in Nairobi is second to none with a large variety of shopping malls
to suit everyone. Sightseeing around Nairobi will take you at least a couple
of days as there are some points of interest such as the National Museum of
Kenya, City Hall and the Parliament buildings are to name but a few attractions.
For the Volcano enthusiasts a trip to Kenya wouldn’t be complete without
visiting Mount Kenya National Park that is Africa’s second highest volcanic
mountain that is extinct and sits on the equator. The mountain is a staggering

forests both in the lower part and higher part of the mountain. You may spot

of birds such as red-fronted parrots and kingfishers.
If you are going to Kenya to catch a glimpse of the Serengeti, then you wont
be disappointed. Maasai Mara Game reserve is known as the top Serengeti Plains,
making it one of the most spectacular game parks in the world. Here you will
see all sorts of Wildlife with the migration of its huge herds of zebra and
wildebeest in looking for water. The animal’s move from the Serengeti
in Tanzania around May time normally arriving in Maasai Mara around July. You
may also find large prides of lions travelling through. Other wild animals you
may spot include elephants, Rhino, and cheetah.
